Not sure where to put this bit of news, but apparently Gillis has signed a new NCAA and major junior scout - Dan Palango.

Good luck to former player agent Dan Palango who has left the agent business to join his former partner Mike Gillis in Vancouver. Palango will primarily scout NCAA and major junior for the Canucks. He represented several NHL players including B.J. Crombeen, Chris Campoli, Byron Bitz, Brian McGrattan, and Jamie Benn.
