Coburn in walking boot; likely a sprain

courtesy of Timmey's twitter, will look for an article

Quote:
@tpanotch - Coburn in walking boot. Tells me he has a sprain. That likely means Tollefsen plays vs Bruins

I wonder if this injury happened last night or not?

Timmeh's blog on CSN Philly says the exact same as his twitter:

BOSTON – Just when it looks like the Flyers were only days away from being a nearly healthy team, another player goes down.

This time it’s Braydon Coburn.

Coburn was seen walking around the TD Garden at Sunday morning’s Flyers practice in a walking boot. He told us that it was just an ankle sprain and that he injured it Saturday night against the Devils.

It must be a little more serious than he is letting on. Coburn left Boston to head back to Philadelphia to see team doctors.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said that until the Flyers can figure out what is wrong with Coburn, the team will list him as day-to-day.

One thing is certain: Coburn will not play on Monday night here against the Bruins.

Ole-Kristian Tollefsen will play his first game since Nov. 7, when he left the game against St. Louis with a mild concussion. He has been healthy for the last four or five weeks, often doing extra workouts after practice.
