Anyone who thinks that the Flyers would trade Carter to a division rival is out of their minds.

He isn't damaged goods like Lindros at the time he was traded to the Rangers, Carter is 24-years-old and has already put up a 46-goal season. He hasn't even entered his prime yet.

Also, I think some of these trade proposals are selling Carter short... the Flyers would ask for Staal or Del Zotto in return for Carter. Carter has the potential to be a franchise player; Dubinsky, Anisimov, Girardi, etc., do not.
