I never understood deals like this. Guys trade their under 25 40 goal scorers for unproven prospects that they HOPE will one day develop into under 25 40 gaol scorers! Why do this. It is taking steps backwards. I know guys who one year acquire all prospects, then two yrs later, when they are all ready to make the jump to full time NHL action, they do it again! Guys like Hossa, Havlat, Gaborik, Gagne, Heatley, Kovalchuk, I would never deal for prospects and picks. It is different if you have guys like Andreychuk, Hull, etc... on your roster.

If any of those guys pan out, you win. You orobably still win value wise, but I would not do it.
