Are any of you really short sighted enough to think that Tom Renney or Torts would have the same philosophy if he were coaching the Hawks or Pens??

In general whether it was JJ or Gaborik this team has had very little secondary scoring.

So, if a coach wants to keep his job by doing the only thing he can do to make his team competitive. The neutral zone back has to protected. And defensive pinches have to be done only when the defenseman knows he can get to the puck first, or the 3rd man is high to cover..
