I had hoped there would be no rust, but I did expect it and there it was. No huge signals went off about omens of bad habits. The team kept battling as the game went on, and I thought Kopi played a better game (not great) than he has recently.
I hope Simmonds is not on the 1st line on Monday. I don't want Kopi playing between two guys who are fresh off injuries.
And on top of that, give credit to the Coyotes. It was two good damn teams playing last night.
