there will be several issues like this that are left up in the year which they will make one-time exceptions to handle...

after a new cba is signed, the nhl and nhlpa will have to figure out how to handle this situations and for this they will probably just extend the deadline to sign the prospects if the cba is signed after june 1st...

there is absolutely no chance of the flyers losing carter and richards over the timing of the lockout...
