The book may contain publishing errors but Fischler is still a dope.
I have his 1988 book; "Hockey's 100: A Personal Ranking of the Best Player's in Hockey History". He has Orr at number 13, (with Denis Potvin at number 12). And no it is not a mistake, lol, he tries to justify it (quite lamely), in the entry. Frank Boucher comes in at number 5, ahead of the likes of Beliveau (8) and Harvey (9). Bobby Hull shows up (eventually) at number 14.
Lafleur - 51
Clarke - 36
Ching Johnson comes in at 53....two spots ahead of Stan Mikita.
I rest my case, lol.
