Why keep both guys, when they are similar? There is no need for both, who both need to play on the top 6 to be effective. Since Perreault has more value than Ribs and is older, and more salary....it would make more sense than trading Ribs. All in all, one will most likely be gone this season. Time to get bigger players with grit rather than continue the nucleus around soft players. Sure Perreault is the best face-off man in the nhl and scores 20+, but Riberio is a better playmaker, can play the point on the powerplay occassionally and has better on ice vision
