The other half of games he was riding the pine or getting 1-3 minutes a nite. Everyone was ready to dumb Christensen a couple weeks ago saying he was AHL talent. Now he has gotten a chance and looks like a decent player. Chirstensen, another guy with speed who couldn't get anything done with the slugs on the lower lines.
Lisin is in his fourth professional season. He'll be 24 before seasons end. He's no rookie. Gilroy is a rookie who has been playing his position for four years. Apples and oranges.

I agree it's too early to write off Lisin, but I'm not buying the age excuse either.


It's just pain.
