Cup of tea or not, Miller has seen actual NHL regular season action, that's called experience. Pitkanen has absolutely zero experience at the NHL level.

The AHL is the 2nd best league in the world if you ask me. Why do you think players get assigned there instead of to Europe. I can't buy the argument that the Finnish Elite League is a step or two above the AHL, I really can't.

This is still baffling me. I'm really trying to find where the logic is that says Pitkanen is more proven at the NHL level. Are we missing this point? NHL not European pro leagues. Like I said, Pitkanen hasn't even seen AHL ice which is the proving ground for the NHL. So again, how is Pitkanen more proven and experienced when it comes to the NHL?
