You really have to look at what Hossa's value got in return.
Colby Armstrong and Eric Christensen, Girardi and a first-round draft pick. That aint much. At all. Im not sure if you are put it seems like some people are saying Carter and JVR and a 1st for this guy. In no way is that fair value. It will be JVR and a first or Carter, not both. If more salary goes the other way, then we will get more back.
