I think STevens is a bad coach, but he is a good coach for player development
Fine. Who did he develop? Eager, Upshall, Downie etc etc gone. He needed a trade every single season to get his hockey club going.

I mean I'll be honest and say that I am a little surprised with Richards production but he was compared with Yzerman by some scouts (personally had him right there with Rod the bud Brindy in terms of production and I do not mean to sound like I know it all). I'd throw Nitty his way but Stevens is not a hockey coach.

With Carter I am not surprised at all. Some fans were even comparing Carter with J.Staal in his 1st year.

Everyone else.. Who with exception of Jones made major steps forward? Come on. Wake up.

He was Homers best friend and he was players best buddy and thats why he lasted that long. That and 20M that were spent un UFAs not to mention great core of young players that Clarke left behind.
