Just about every lopsided trade involves a team that is merely a victim of circumstance so I have a hard time really getting on the GM's who make the occasional bad trade, a lot of them have had to. In terms of talent and immediate return, I think Slava Kozlov for Domink Hasek was the most lopsided trade. Hasek was aging but still playing well and he simply was out of the Sabres price range. Had to make a trade and when the big market teams know that, they can sell you short.
