Wayne Fish say Emery will likely get the start.
n all good mysteries, clues are the most important thing.

So on Saturday, when Flyers coach Peter Laviolette declined to divulge the name of his starting goaltender for this afternoon's game at Washington, "detectives" started looking for something out of the ordinary.

In recent days before games, Laviolette has shown no hesitation in disclosing his intention to start Michael Leighton, who has played 11 straight contests.

And why not? Before Thursday night's 4-0 loss in Toronto, Leighton had gone 8-0-1 in his first 10 starts.

But when a backup falters and a starter, Ray Emery, is ready to go after coming off injury, it doesn't take a Sherlock Holmes to figure out Emery is a strong possibility to face Alex Ovechkin and the boys today.
