You're a bit greedy, and as Rodent points out, you tie up a lot of money in four players. I leave out the Lacavlier acquisition, but I do target Kovalchuk in the off-season. I don't re-sign Higgins, I deal Girardi and replace him with Sanguinetti, I ride out the Rozsival and Drury contracts for two years, and I buyout Redden. You've got at least $8 million to work with to go after Kovalchuk, in terms of cap space.
