What bothers me a little bit is that Jacques has a history of having a hard time letting sub-par vets go. That's why he quit in Jersey, the team had peaked out, and it was time to bring in the kids. Which, in turn, meant that some of the veterans, who were loyal to Jacques and the team, had to go. He couldn't do it, he chose to quit himself. Those are actually his words, I read it in one of his interviews. I've seen enough of Foy, Brandner, Michalek, to think that they are probably ready for the big show. But would Lemaire have the nerve to say "Merci, au revoir" to the likes of Darby, Marshall, Dowd, Bomber this time around?
