Christensen returns, 4th line tinkering, Redden tidbit...

Anyway, here’s what my Phoenix source has told me: Erik Christensen appears to be back in the lineup tomorrow night, he was skating on the second line at today’s practice with Chris Drury and Brandon Dubinsky. The top line of Marian Gaborik-Vinny Prospal-Ryan Callahan remains intact as does the third line of Christopher Higgins-Artem Anisimov-Enver Lisin.

So the healthy scratches will likely come from today’s fourth line group of Sean Avery, Donald Brashear, Brian Boyle, Ales Kotalik and Aaron Voros. Of that group, I’m thinking Avery and Boyle definitely in.

Also, the Rangers still have six defensemen so Wade Redden will be back after being benched the final 38 minutes of Wednesday’s 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes. He and coach John Tortorellla had a lengthy on-ice chat after practice and Redden said later they were just clearing the air.
