That was a horrible attempt...

although one has to ask why, when at about the 24 or 25 yardline, they ran that quarterback sneak that lost a couple yards. Dierdorf's explanation of they're trying to get the clock close to zero may've been valid, but if true, was a stupid move by the Jets. Kick the ball on third down just in case something goes wrong with the snap.

Bluenote...I probably would've tried a pass down there too. They were expecting run and everybody was up on the line. A nice play action to someone over the middle, like Chrebret who was quiet, and a gain of 8-10 would've made the FG attempt under 40 yards. I'm talking a quick, safe play. Chad, after a stupid interception, was content with taking sacks instead of forcing the ball through. In any event, same 'ol Jets...and man are the Steelers lucky they have home field, because they just ain't that good on offense.
