Let me just say that as a Steelers fan

any Field Goal attempt over 40 yards is never a guarantee at Heinz Field.

Reed seems to have a good feel for kicking at home, but even with him, anything over 40 yards is not a guarantee.

The one that hit the cross bar? bad luck no doubt, but he ablosutely botched the one with 2 seconds left, and as someone else mentioned, I was very ver happy that Pennington took a knee about 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

I thought that that was the stupidest call of the game. Had the Jets nailed the kick and given the Steelers the ball back with 2 seconds left on the clock, what are the odds that they do something? In all of the games in all of the years we can probably count on both our hands the times when something special has happened in the last 2 seconds of a game deep in your own territory.

As has been the case all season, the play calling and clock management for the Jets really leave you wondering about Herm's ability to manage a game clock.
