People think our defense sucks now? So lets get rid of a still somewhat young player, with experience, and play a 3rd rookie on an already horrible D. Great ****ing move, reeks of genius
Moving Redden and/or Rozsival and playing another rookie IS a good move, actually.

You think this is a playoff team? A contender?

You think we are a Morris and Antropov away from contending?

Sanguinetti is exponentially better then both Redden and Rozsival.

Sanguinetti is 21 years old and already twice an all-star at a pro level.

The ONLY reason he is not in the NHL right now is because there are to idiots that make an exorbitant amount of money (Redden & Rozsival) and are virtually impossible to get rid of.

Staal
Del Zotto
Sanguinetti
McDonagh
Gilroy

Are going to be the core going forward, as soon as Sather figures a way out of the Redden and Rozsival disasters.

Girardi, who knows. If he learns to be more intense when it comes to protecting his goaltender.
