Also, while the Barnaby trade turned out to be hugely in our favor, the only reason it worked is because Barnaby came here and became the player that he hadn't been since he had been traded from Buffalo. I would give credit to Barnaby for taking advantage of the situation long before I give any credit to Sather for making the trade in the first place. Afterall, we got lucky--we managed to get rid of Cigar before the rest of the league realized what we the fans who actually watched the games Cigar played in already knew: he stunk and NEVER should have been signed in the first place.
