I suppose it's not impossible, but the PA would have to get completely sugarbushed in negotiations for that to happen.
Secondly, there are a lot of teams who say they're losing money with a $20 million payroll so I don't see how they benefit from having to take on players with huge contracts.
Thirdly, Messenger brought up Yashin. What if nobody wants to take on the Yashin/Jagr type contracts? What then? Are they going to be forced on teams?
