My point is while Alfredsson may be a great player, he isn't someone who knows how to win. I'd rather have guys who know how to win selected first as long as they're great players as well. Robyn Regehr has done more in his first year in the playoffs than Alfredsson has done in 7 years.

I am surprised that Alfredsson garnered so much attention but the knocks you have against him are either unfounded or unfair.
Alfredsson has shown on many occasions that he's a great leader and a playoff performer.
Sundin never won a Stanley Cup, does that mean he's a poor leader?
Game sevens are sometimes lost by your goaltender not your captain, surely a fan of a team that had Roman Cechmanek can understand that.
