vancouvers been partying it up like this every night for the last 2 weeks
ive randomly gone downtown on 6 or 7 nights just to walk the streets, always packed, patriotism is through the roof, drunk rowdies, its something well never see in this city again
BUT MY GOD DID TODAY'S CELEBRATION PUT THE OTHERS TO SHAME
they stopped running skytrains to downtown for a while because there were too many ppl downtown
and a lot of the major streets were already shut down because of the enormous amount of ppl that would be walking around, but they shut even more down today
at most intersections it was so packed you had to stand around for up to 10 minutes just waiting for a small path to open up in which you couild force yourself through the crowd
never been so proud to be a canadian
these 2 last weeks have been the greatest of my life
vancouver wont be the same without the olympics
