I would like to know if there are any books like that as well, I have looked but not really found one solid resource. I think your best bet would be to look at coaching books. The problem with hockey is that, unlike golf, once players learn the basics and move onto beer leagues a lot of them stop caring to improve their game. That makes it hard to make money from books or instructional videos. All of the money is in the basics because that is where the greatest desire to learn is.

Most of the players that continue to want to improve are playing elite hockey and they don't need to buy books because they have an entourage of trained coaches telling them what to do.
