Unfortunately, I don't agree with your comment here. If you put a team in Winnipeg, you would be increasing revenue. My uneducated guess is there is only a small fraction of money in Winnipeg being spent on the NHL. Add a team - you add revenue. You might even grow the sport's fan base. Just because its in Canada, doesn't mean you are automatically taking money or fans away from the other six teams.

BTW - I think the whole article is a farce - they need to generate people to their website.
