Preseason is just that. Preseason. It is hardly a good indicator of what will transpire during the rigors of the NHL season. Scrimmages, practices, drills, and preseason matchups are hardly going to be as taxing mentally/physically as an NHL game.

I'm not saying I don't love Hemsky as a player. I certainly do. But he IS still a young player and will be prone to slumps as all good young players do. 70 pts and above for young little Hemsky is more than pushing our luck IMO.
