And as Melrose said, if you are an owner of a minor league hockey team, are you telling me that you are going to pass up an opportunity to create a better product our of sentiment?
How about those players joining teams in other leagues, actually PAYING for the opportunity to skate?

I know it's far fetched, but I mean they are supposedly doing it to keep in shape, why not just treat this like joining a gym and pay for your "membership" into the league.
