"Western meltdown"

How does this happen!
After, one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the University Cup, which Western executed last year on St Mary's, they blow that game with 90 seconds left and a trip to the Nationals in T-Bay on the line! Crazy things happening in this years playoffs indeed (UNB, Saskatchewan).
It will be interesting to see how UQTR pans out at this years Nationals, they were destroyed by CanadaWest champ Alberta when the U of A hosted, and I believe it was a double digit blasting and were ran out of the rink in Moncton vs UNB were they were badly outshot and shut out 7-0. They always put up some impressive stats throughout the regular season but those humiliating losses prove just how strong the CanadaWest and AUS level of competition can be. Yes, they were rested and beat Saskatchewan in Moncton, but in no way should have won that hockey game, as they were overmatched, outshot badly again and completely outplayed! Saskatchewan was also coming off a very physically and demanding loss against UNB the day before. Despite having 3 of the 6 teams competing at ThunderBay,I would be shocked if the 2010 University Cup winner doesn't come from outside of the OUA.
On another note, fans in Fredericton would love to see 2 reps out of the CanadaWest at least one of the 2 upcoming years in which they will host.
The last time the rotating wild card went to the OUA and the AUS.
Most AUS fans would hope that this could be changed, as it looks like the AUS and OUA will once again hold the rotating berth in the 2011-12 University Cup tournament.
