- List the conferences that even considered A-H for admission (Hint: the list consists of one conference previously mentioned). The single conference that accepted A-H's application gets blame for denial of admittance, but no credit for even considering the program.

- The CCHA is widely recognized in college hockey as having done more publicly and privately to maintain the competitive nature of multiple conferences and the balance between small and large hockey programs for a number of years than any other conference.

- If you think the CCHA has not tried to protect the fragile balance of the haves and have nots of college hockey, research the way that other conferences and larger individual programs have historically tried to manipulate everything from competitive balance to the NCAA selection process (a process so bad that they now use the current PairWise Rankings to eliminate subjectivity and influence).

- As far as weakening D-1 hockey, where are all of the other conferences in saving A-H? Why was it O.K. for the WCHA to poach UNO from the CCHA to form a bigger conference at the expense of another conference?

Blame can go around to a hundred different points, but the CCHA is far, far from the villain in this story.
