I suppose the play-by-play isn't so bad (although hughson's voice is better imo) but I find the commentary ridiculously repetitive and brutally inaccurate (for example, in their pre-game analysis of the canucks they called them a "strong defensive-oriented team"). And yes, I will take Don Taylor's inane comments any day of the week over Clement telling me that "This Player" is "Good Defensively" or "Good Offensively" at every single stoppage in play...especially when I'm well aware that it's not even an accurate description of the player in question and that player had nothing to do with the preceding play. |
