I would have to disagree that the team "regressed significantly" from his second year (2006-07) to his third year (2007-08); that third year, we beat the Devils convincingly and were eliminated by a team that went to the Stanley Cup.

...As for the fourth year, yeah, that was regression, but it was the first year without Jagr and Shanahan, two major losses both from a talent and a psychological standpoint.
