It's a high quantity of playoff spots, but for junior the goal isn't about selectiveness, it is all about development, but you most likely aren't going to see a lower seed win it all, especially not this year with the strength of some of the teams.
Right now with the West I fully expect the first 4 seeds to advance to the second round so you will most likely see a 1 vs. 4, 2vs. 3 second round.
In the West I have a little harder time picking who has the best shot to come out. I am not sold on Brampton right now, and I still think Mississauga is the best team in the West, but I also like the makeup of the Petes. The only teams that I don't think have a great shot at coming out are Ottawa, Kingston, and Belleville.
