ya it truely is sad to hear about players like this.. i have played with former world junior players jay mcclement who was unreal growing up drafted 2nd overal in the ohl only to spezza who had already played as an underager, but still the best player i ever saw as a minor hockey player growing up in kingston was a year older then us. He moved away to play tier 2 when he was 15 and got all screwed up from their, took a few cycles of steroids was 5'8 160 probably when he went away .. then he got drafted by peterbrough and showed up to the camp weighing in at 220.. he is 5'8 lets remmember .. the coach made him ride the bike during their games until he lost weight.. so he quit.. went downhill from there because he couldn't play for any team at a lower level because he knew he was good enough to play in the ohl...
