Let me get this straight. Terry Murray has been a head coach for thirteen seasons and has made the playoffs in eight of them so far and it is very likely to be nine. And he's done it for franchises that have been classically regarded as inept. He took over Washington when they were the laughing stock of the NHL and they prospered. He led the Florida Panthers to a 92 point season. And now he has taken the perpetual door mat Kings to the doorstep of the playoffs and you want to fire him!? Let's take the hyperbole down a notch and look at facts.

As for Kompon I have three words: small sample size. The sixth ranked power play in the league is by its very definition a good power play.
