Johnson approaches the media and this lockout as if he's on the ice. He's calculated and doesn't do anything drastic. He's just very smart and tactically sound. He's not going to give the owners fodder; he's going to let them beat themselves.
Walker is close to his on-ice personality as well. He shoots from the hip, takes tons of chances. He's been fiesty and aggressive during this whole lockout, mouthing off to the opposite side. Much like in the rink, he's drawn criticism from the opposing fans. He pushes his cause 100% and takes no prisoners.
So true, and because of it I am starting to realize while Greg is the captain of this team....
However, Walker takes a much more median approach in this recent interview. Encouraging read actually, especially Walker's last comments. Almost redeeming...
