Full gear. If you want, leave out the shoulder pads.

Bring a couple pucks. Toss them on the ice when you go out, then feel free to use any puck that's on the ice during warmups. Once the game starts, they usually put the spare pucks somewhere... in the nets, on top of the nets, on the bench, wherever. When you're finished playing, just grab the same number of pucks that you brought. Don't bother marking the pucks, or trying to find yours. Just take whatever.

At least, this is how it works at most of the drop-ins I've been in.
