I agree the weight of defeat has rested on his shoulders. For the life of me I can't understand why. He's been very good in the playoffs.
But he is not a top penalty killer, aside from this and last season:
Last year he had 19 PPGA, most among forwards on his team. The most he's had aside from that, was 11, in 2005-06, and that was 6th among forwards on his team. Nothing special.
