Wang and Milbury wanted to make their team competitive, restore some pride, get back in the playoffs... Hamrlik has played a role in doing that... mission accomplished.

Lowe's mandate has been to put a competitive team on the ice while keeping costs down and building for post-CBA. So far so good. Brewer fits in well with that philosophy.
