Vanek sure is a very important part of Team Austria, but because Austria is rather deep on forwards, but thin on D, a guy like Syracuse defenseman Andre Lakos is more important than Vanek. I really think if Lakos wasn't injured and could have played in the qualifying tournament, Austria would be through...
Reinhard Divis is another big part of that team...
