Well, he also only played in 69 games. So he established a career high in goals and points, while playing 13 less games. He also cut down on his undisciplined penalties. It was a good season for him personally.

I don't think anyone believes that Dubinsky is "untouchable" when it comes to being traded. Has anyone said that? But he's young, relatively cheap, and productive. If he becomes a pawn in a deal to bring in an overpaid, under-performing veteran, that's going to suck.


It's just pain.
