Seems like any low-scoring team that turns pucks over...or forces pucks to be turned over, rather...in the neutral zone is called a trap team by most people. Just b/c our game can be boring and we can't score doesn't mean we play the trap!
For clarification, though....the trap is: one forward deep forechecking, two forwards on the opposition blue line/in the first half of the neutral zone forechecking, and two D on our own blueline...right? Seems like every team does that at some point in every game.
I have NO clue what a left wing lock is. I need to go read Hockey for Dummies or something, I'd really like to know more about strategies of play, having never played myself.
