Islanders believe they received enough value to drop out of the top-5. Berglund is a stud, and the consensus among Islanders brass is that either him or Josh Bailey will move to LW to solidify our top-6 for the immediate future.
Jackman automatically slides into the top-4, being the top defenseman on our penalty kill.
Rundblad is a 2009 1st rounder, and joins Calvin DeHaan and Travis Hamonic as our top defensive prospects.

It was tough to give up USHL rookie of the year Anders Lee, but are happy with the quality of the players coming back. St. Louis to confirm.
St. Louis confirms. The Blues wish Barret Jackman all the best, and are grateful for his service to this franchise. Barret Jackman will always have a place with the St. Louis Blues whenever he wants one.

Giving up three former first-round picks is hard, but the Blues feel that Anders Lee can fill the big, skilled center slot in the prospect pool... and Lee is a player that has interested the Blues since 2008. Slated to begin skating for Notre Dame next season, the Blues will meet with the 2009-10 USHL Rookie Of The Year to see if turning pro at this time might not be in his, and the organization's, best interests.

The fifth-overall pick means that the Blues will have access to one of Cam Fowler, Brandon Gormley, or Erik Gundbranson to replace Rundblad in the system, should we choose to go in that direction... or can use the pick on a top-notch forward prospect if our staff feels that the defense depth is still adequate for short- and long-term needs.

An additional second-round selection in a draft deep with "next-tier" talent is also a benefit to the organization.
