The Lidstrom is now called the Getzlaf and the Samsonov is the same curve. The Pronger one is too and seems whatever company makes it determines the NHL name on it which sucks.
I use a Getzlaf equivalent made by Harrow (their #7 pattern) with a 5.5 lie which to me seems like a 6 lie. Here she beeeee, it is more open than it looks but I love it for that. It sauces nicely and is good for playing D when you need a quick chip up off the glass.
Keeping shots low took a while to get the hang of but not a problem now. Just need to adjust your mechanics.
