I found it! Iginla DID play with Langkow, I knew I wasn't going crazy. This is from the Flames website, some article.

"The pair played against each other extensively in the Western Hockey League and then played on the same line at the 1996 World Junior Championships in Boston, where they helped Canada to win gold. Iginla led all forwards with 12 points while Langkow had three goals and three assists in five games."
