Heck, let's just read and see who has the highest hockey IQ from this year's draft. I didn't know drafting was so easy.

The truth (not the exaggerated version) is that every great player will say that hockey IQ is very important. However, I have never heard anyone say that hockey IQ is the most absolute, like you're saying.
