View from a buddy in Sweden who follows the team:

He was probably Djurgården's best defender this past season along with Andreas Holmqvist (former 1st round pick by Tampa Bay). Good speed and good shot. Solid on the PP and not bad on the PK. He feels like a #6 or #7 on a NHL team with not much depth on defense. If he can make the transition to the NHL, then he could perhaps be use as a PP-QB on a second PP-line. But I would put my money that he ends up in Hamilton next season. Unless of course the Habs lose a bunch of defenders this summer and are desperate to fill there defense.

Must say that he and his agent haven't made any friends in Djurgården with this move. Apparently they did not contact Djugården about the move. Despite the fact that he did sign a 1-year extension with the team earlier in the season. And while his contract did have an out-clause, it is still a crappy way of handling things. Why not just inform the team that you are on the way to the NHL?
