Group 3 UFA: Age 27+ on June 30 (Schneider will be 26), -OR- 7 accrued NHL seasons (Won't happen)
Group 5 UFA: 10+ Pro seasons
Group 6 UFA: 25 years old (Schneider 26), -AND- 3+ Professional seasons (He'll have 4, AHL is included), -AND- less than 28 NHL games (Min. 30 mins played to count, therefore he's only counted as 7 so far despite playing in 10 games)
Thanks for the info Anonymouse.

I think by looking at what you wrote above that Schneider will be UFA after his 2 year contract is up.
I'm not sure how you're interpreting that but he's saying that Schneider will be 26 at that time, meaning the only way he could be UFA is if he has played pro since age 16, in the NHL since 19 or has played fewer than 28 NHL games (for more than 30 minutes each).

Obviously only the last condition applies and in all likelihood Schneider will see enough action in the next two seasons to avoid it.
