Most EJ teams with Empire teams operate them as two separate organizations. You will get a good idea, as a player @ B, where you stand with the A team if the A coach takes an interest in you and invites you on the ice with the A team to practice. Usually, it's only one or two players a season.

EJ teams scout and recruit very heavily.
